This American studio craft coffee table was likely made in the 1980s-1990s. It features a wonderful egg form top in solid walnut, and a solid oak, cantilevered cruciform base. The thick walnut top gradually tapers, forming a sculpted edge on once side. This unique, solid piece was clearly inspired by the designs of Charlotte Perriand and George Nakashima. One of one. Excellent vintage condition, professionally refinished. Super solid and sturdy.
