A fabulous and rare pair of "Tank" lounge chairs designed and manufactured by Bowman Brothers in the 1930s in the UK. These stunners feature a cantilever bentwood oak frame with a chunky upholstered scoop seat and back. The frames have been left in their original condition with beautiful patina and light cosmetic wear consistent with age. The seats have been fully restored with all the springs retied, new foam, and reupholstered in Josef Frank's "Vegetable Tree" pattern linen textile by Svenskt Tenn (this beautiful fabric costs $220/yard), with contrasting mustard piping. These low, comfortable loungers will totally anchor a space and add a pop of warmth and flair to your interior.
