A sublime set of four California modernist barstools designed after Cleo Baldon, and manufactured in the 1960s. The unique, heavy duty stools feature wrought iron construction with solid oak elements and footrest. They have undergone a full restoration: all wood elements have been beautifully refinished, and the cushions have been reimagined in a stunning moss green cowhide with green velvet piping and buttons. The texture of the hide contrasts beautifully against the more industrial materials of the stool.
Excellent overall vintage condition with some nominal, age typical cosmetic wear to the iron. The wood and cushion are like new. Exceptionally solid and sturdy. Ready to be placed in a high end interior.
