An outrageously striking and collectible "Braz" Lounge chair designed by Carlos Motta. The entire chair is built with reclaimed Peroba wood, a Brazilian hardwood.
This is an incredibly well built piece of furniture, weighing around 100 lbs, and will last generations. It's the perfect hybrid of rusticity and modernism. The scale is truly striking, and the ergonomic design makes it outstandingly comfortable (Carlos Motta is said to make the most comfortable furniture of all the Brazilian designers, as he builds his designs around ergonomic support).
This piece is upholstered in a beautiful, thick, chocolate brown suede which contrasts beautifully against the more honeyed hue of the Peroba wood. Chair is branded "Carlos Motta CM". Excellent vintage condition with light marks to the suede and natural patina to the wood. This is a true collectors piece that will hold its value over time.
