Orginally conceived by Marcel Breuer in the 1930s, this example was reissued by Knoll in the 1970s. The organic, sculptural bentwood frame is in the original condition with lovely patina and gentle age consistent wear. The seat has been freshly reupholstered in thick, sumptuous, spotted shearling which adds tremendous texture and comfort to the piece. This chaise would be delightful next to a fireplace, in a living room, or in a bedroom. One small veneer chip to the underside of the arm (not too noticeable).
