A fantastic, early 1970s example of the Eames "Time Life Executive" chair, quite simply the ultimate desk chair. This example came directly out of the Frank Lloyd Wright MOMA building in New York City, where it lived for most of its life. Supreme comfort with amazing tilt back mechanism. Built to last forever. This chair has been reupholstered in a sumptuous, cognac calf skin leather. It is super soft and supple and adds so much character to this chair, turning it into a one-of-a-kind piece. It will get more and more beautiful with age and use. Typical cosmetic blemishes to the metal base, but overall shows very nicely.
