A stunning and completely original Isamu Noguchi's IN-50 coffee table circa ~1949. This example consists of an early cherry wood base and the original apple green glass. The cherry base has been gently refinished and waxed and is in phenomenal shape. The apple green glass is the nicest we've ever handled and is without any chips or cracks, which is exceptionally rare for these early pieces. The glass does show some very light wear to the top, consistent with its age--there are some nominal cosmetic micro-scratches to the surface, though in our opinion, this adds wanted character to the piece, helping, very discreetly, to show its age. Overall, this stunner is structurally perfect and just absolutely stunning. SO much nicer than the new ones, you really can't even compare. Large aluminum pin holds the base together. A museum quality piece, ready for your collection.
