An uncommon "Janus" Wing Chair 'Model 5761' designed by Edward Wormley and produced by Dunbar in the 1950s. For this design, Wormley drew his inspiration from the French wingback bergère chairs of the 18th century, with a goal of creating a chair that honored its aesthetic origins but featured sleeker, more modern lines. This example has been stunningly restored: it has been re-upholstered in a luxurious, buttery, oxblood leather, and the base has been refinished. The large seat cushion is a combination of foam and feathers. Pour yourself some bourbon, sit back, and chill.
