A lovely, California modernist sofa/daybed designed by Mel Bogart and manufactured by Felmore Associates in the 1950s. The sofa has been fully restored - the solid oak frame has been refinished, and the cushions have been beautifully recovered in a wool plaid fabric by Maharam. A simple mechanism under the sofa allows the seat to be pulled out an extra foot or so, converting the sofa into a daybed (perfect for house guests. Or naps). This example features the super cool, iron, V-form legs, which exist in aesthetic harmony with the oak and plaid.
Dimensions: 75"W x 35"D x 28"H
Seat Height: 16"
Condition Notes: Restored vintage condition. Oak frame has been refinished and shows minimal wear. We have left the iron legs totally original - the have lovely, light patina and are in great shape. The fabric and foam is brand new.
