An uncommon "Working Chair" designed and manufactured in Sweden by Odelberg-Olsen in 1948 for distribution by Knoll in the U.S. market. The chair is constructed of birch plywood and painted steel. It features a pivoting backrest which adjusts to your body in real time, and the chair can also be heightened and lowered (16"-19"), as well as swivel. This example features the much less common and highly desirable contoured seat and back. The patina is absolutely jaw dropping, as can be seen in the photos.
