An impressive and early pair of "PK31" easy chairs, designed by Poul Kjaerholm and manufactured by E. Kold Christensen in the 1950s. These stunning examples feature their original cognac leather and loose feather down cushions. The chairs feature heavy duty construction (they're built like tanks), with steel base and frame. The steel components show lovely soft patina in the form of warm reddish oxidation. The leather, as mentioned, is original, and shows incredible patina, as can be seen in the photos. Incredibly comfortable. Both chairs are signed with the E. Kold Christensen mark and "Denmark". This stunning, museum worthy pair is ready for use.
