An early and large stoneware "Thumb" pot made by Stan Bitters for Hans Sumpf circa 1970. This unique original example features a crude, slightly asymmetrical form, with an uncommon "pinched" design, differing slightly from the the more basic pressed thumb decoration found on most of his pots. The interior of the pot is incised with "A-24" and boasts 4 drain holes.

Dimensions: 24"W x 24"D x 15"H

Condition Notes: Excellent vintage condition. No chips, cracks or issues. Excellent collectors example, ready to be used immediately.
