A stunning lounge chair designed by T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings and produced by Widdicomb in the mid 1950s. This uncommon chair features a beautifully sculpted frame of blonde stained walnut, and a thick seat and back cushion which have been reupholstered in a fabulous thick-pile, linen velvet which gives of a "hair-on-hide" look. The craftsmanship on this is second to none. It is built like a tank, with heavy duty construction, lasagne straps, and hand sculpted solid wood details. Heirloom quality, built to last forever.
Restored condition with smooth patina to the wood frame. New Upholstery.
