A large and unique faceted stump form table by Hinterland Design studio. This vintage table features solid western red cedar construction which has been hand-shaped and faceted based on the unique characteristics of the wood. The result is a distinctively sculptural, organic form. The vibrant, reddish coloration of the cedar radiates warmth, and the smooth patinaed surface is soft and smooth and full of character, with the top of the table beautifully revealing the center growth rings of the tree. The table is in wonderful vintage condition with some scuffs and scratches here and there which only contribute to the character of the piece. It has been gently sanded and waxed and is ready to be placed in an interior. This incredibly solid piece may be used as an estimable pedestal or as a tall side table beside or behind a sofa.
