An early, first generation "Soriana" lounge chair, designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa and manufactured by Cassina around 1970. This low, large scale lounge chair has been reupholstered in soft, sumptuous, top grain, Italian oxblood leather. It features the early, solid wood feet and original casters on the back. All chrome elements are original and in excellent, gleaming condition. This example is 10X more comfortable than other examples as the very early ones were made with an amazingly cushy and superior foam. You literally melt right into it. Comfort is 10/10. It is in fantastic condition, ready to be broken in. The leather will patina beautifully with time and use.
