A stunning and rare cabinet designed by Bertha Schaefer and manufactured by Singer & Sons in the 1950s. The cabinet features heirloom solid mahogany construction with beautiful ribbon mahogany on the front. The perfectly proportioned cabinet provides ample storage with five large drawers on the left side (three of them protrude from the case to create a unique art-deco form), and five smaller drawers behind a door on the right side. It sits slightly raised on four square tapered legs. The cabinet has been fully restored from head to toe and is in absolutely beautiful vintage condition. The drawers slide smooth and effortlessly and the door features a "push to open" mechanism. The sculpted drawer handles were all custom made, as the previous owner had replaced them with metal hardware. This lovely, practical cabinet is ready to be placed in your interior. Original label to inside of drawer.
