What you see here is a one-of-a-kind set of modernist dining chairs circa 1930s. These chairs are simply exquisite. They are constructed of solid teak, which makes us believe they are probably European - most likely Dutch. Construction is phenomenal, with complex joinery and copious attention to detail. The style is reminiscent of designs by Rietveld, Rudolph Schindler, and Frank Lloyd Wright. The frames have been beautifully refinished, but still retain some of the beautiful age acquired patina. The cushions have been recovered in a stunning Brazilian Buffalo leather.
