A wonderfully chic "Island" Sofa designed by Joe D'urso and manufactured by Donghia around 1990. The unique sofa/chaise features a slightly tapered form with an open back on one side for easy all around access. The construction is top tier with a solid wood frame, hand tied springs, and sag straps. Each end of the sofa features solid ebonized wood "feet" which just slightly floats the sofa off the floor. This piece has been beautifully reupholstered in a luxurious apple green mohair and is ready to be placed in your interior. There is light, nominal wear to the ebonized wood feet which is barely noticeable. It would be stunning floating in a living room space or in a master bedroom.
