A large, handcrafted cabinet constructed of Mexican mahogany and woven palm, built in the 1940s in Mexico, and likely designed by bauhaus trained designer Michael van Beuren. The two front doors, which have been covered in woven natural palm, slide open to reveal six drawers on each side (three small, three large). All drawers have beautiful dovetail construction. This versatile piece provides tons of storage, and would be perfect in a living room or dining room. Between the lovely red hue of the mahogany and the stunning natural fiber, this piece will bring an abundance of warmth to your space. The cabinet has been lovingly restored and is in wonderful vintage condition, showing smooth, even, age consistent patina. It is ready for use.
