An exeedingly rare and beautiful lounge chair made by American Bauhaus designer, Michael van Beuren, in Mexico in the 1940s. Mahogany frame with gorgeous original hand woven palm chord. Dramatic form. Excellent vintage condition - light wear and patina to the wood frame. The woven cord is close to perfect. Overall strong sturdy and stable. These don't come up very often!
