An absolutely stunning and super uncommon lounge chair by Michael Van Beuren for Muebles, Mexico, circa 1940s. Solid wood construction with woven palm. The chair has been lightly refinished and waxed and is in beautiful vintage condition. It still retains some lovely patina and cosmetic character, as seen in photos. It is sturdy and solid as can be. A truly beautiful piece of Mexican modern design, by a bauhaus trained designer.
