This playful, surrealist "Malitte" seating system was designed by the Chilean artist and architect Roberto Matta and manufactured in Italy by Gavina in the 1960s. The sculptural assemblage features five interlocking forms which "tetris" together to create a single wall, or which can be deconstructed into a full suite of individual seating options for up to six guests.
Our unique set has been fully restored, reupholstered in a thick, nubby, wool textile by Maharam (Hearth). The color palette was inspired by a landscape and features earthy tones meant to bring the soul of the outdoors into your space. This one of a kind "Malitte" seating system is the nicest example on the market, and will totally transform your space into something special.
