A rare and original coffee table by T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for Widdicomb, circa 1950s. This exceptional early example is completely original. The sculptural solid maple base is in fantastic condition with beautiful patina and just the right amount of cosmetic wear. The original uranium green glass is in sublime condition as well without any chips or cracks - you never find these with the original glass, and if you do, it's riddled with chips and imperfections. The green glass seriously makes all the difference - when the light hits it, it literally glows the most stunning green color. This is the finest example on the market.
